iSee: Street artwork in Palermo

The streets of Palermo are famed for their edgy rustic buildings, street photography and of late, headlining the news – the flood of immigrants risking their lives to reach the gateway to the rest if Europe; Sicily.

When I was in Palermo during a weekend trip in November, I saw art work by a Chinese immigrant on the streets of Palermo that should have been should have been hitting the headlines…
He made this painting in under 20 minutes… And there wasn’t a single paint brush in sight! Who knows, the next Picasso out of Italy could be an immigrant… I wonder what the Italians would say to that?!

And just as we were leaving he was starting a new masterpiece… I wonder what this one will end up as… Hmm…
