One World Media News: Student Showcase event on the 3rd December.
One World Media Festival 2013
Earlier this month I attended the One World Media Festival on the 8th and 9th November in Bloomsbury central London. The theme was ‘Creating Global Conversations‘ with a focus on the Global South.
On the agenda was also opportunities available to students and young reporters. Particularly of interest to me was One World Media’s funding opportunities in 2014.
I’m super excited to receive news that One World Media Student Showcase event will held at my college – LCC (London College of Communication) on the Tuesday 3 December at 6pm.
The evening will showcase exclusive presentation of media produced by beneficiaries of the Beyond Your World Production Fund – 23 young reporters who covered stories from the developing world in 2013.
See and hear stories including: Indonesia’s rock ‘n’ roll scene, Roma inclusion in Serbia, how a refugee ended up living in The Gambia, and much more.
