And that’s why I rushed to check on twitter with the hastag #Cairo to find out what is going when my friend left a message on my facebook wall saying “all I can say is I’m happy you didn’t take the latest bus in Cairo yesterday.”

I’ve since whatsapped a friend in Cairo and this is what he had to say about the situation: “the whole thing about the students is they were trying to delay the midterm exams but they couldnt do it.”
