If you’d told me at the beginning of 2013 that I’d be spending New Years Eve in the Sinai desert hosted by Bedouins and surrounded by people I’d just met – I probably wouldn’t believe my luck!
Despite the misunderstanding about paying border tax which held up the bus in Taba for a good 10 minutes, me and Miriam continued with our mission to Nuweiba for the NYE desert party… Another adventure. Another experience (outside the lecture room)!
Our Bedouin hosts ended the night offering us a much needed cup of tea… A special thanks to our Egyptian friends Rashwan and Karim for the invite 😀
