And they say print is dead?!
The first edition of the Arts London News 2014 is out today!
This afternoon I spotted 3rd year Journalism students Valentina de Vito and William Thomas enthusiastically handing out the paper as students walked through the corridors of London College of Communication. I took the opportunity to say hi to my previous-year-peers and get a much awaited first copy of the paper this year – straight from the printers!… I just love that toxic smell of fresh newspaper… Hmmm!
Proof that print is still very much alive, William showed his pride at getting front page – though disappointed that further details of students arrests at last weeks’ Birmingham Students’s protest were taken out by the sub-editors. Nether-the-less, if the shortened word count isn’t adequate enough for you, checkout Williams’ three other articles that made it into the paper!
