iSee: FashioniStar siSta – statement earrings!

The best times of our lives are apparently our student years, so there’s no better time to adapt a sense of style which reflects a sense of consciousness – knowing where you’re from.

I met Digital Television student Chantelle Kaaria and her friend Idowu Kukoyi from Ravensbourne College, the other week in the lobby of London College of Communication (LCC). It was the massive Africa shaped earrings worn by Chantelle which grabbed my attention… I had to find out the style influence of this fashioniSta siStar!

“I would describe my style as Afro-centric… I was trying to move away from it but that didn’t last long – I love lots of colour!”

Idowu added: “If you’re a person of colour, you should wear a colour! I hardly ever wear black.”

The fashioniStars have spoken!
