Well done to Bee for winning Vice President of LCC at last nights election results. The competition was FIERCE – 7 candidates all wanting to represent London College of Communication.
But the votes revealed the true winner and Bee is indeed deserving of it 300+ votes! I’m just glad to see a siStar representing and some diversity in the SUARTS – all white faces are hopefully a picture of the past! I praise and encourage diversity which reflects a society… So in the words of Bee – “FUCK YOUR FEAR!”
Here’s her Facebook message of thanks she left this morning;
“Ok. I am sober now, I didn’t really get to say my thank yous last night so here I go. To everyone who took the time to vote for me online or at uni you are amazing!!!!! Thank You so much. I want to say huge thank you to Sundeep Verdi who called me the night before the nomination deadline and was like – Bee your running for vice whether you like it or not. The belief and love you have me is so sweet Sunnny your actually my babes!!! Kai Li Lutterodt, Amara Rossell, Arij Du’aa Limam, Sarah ‘Bigga’ Serunjogi and Kay thank you for running for VP I felt the heat and competition from you guys we are all so passionate about bringing positive changes to LCC! Huge congrats to Hannah Roberts, Shelly Asquith, Mustafa and Honor for getting the Sabbatical Positions yesterday we were all encouraging each to get them votes and we did it guys!!! Molly Ofori-Mensah thank you tooo.”
Bee’s position as Vice President of LCC will start from the next academic year in September/October 2014.
Once again thank you ALL for your support over the 2 week campaign period – it’s been AMAZING to connect with so many like-minded people… Being a student just could be the best years of my life from now on… Could be!
