I’m very excited to be part of the Fuse Magazine team as the Travel editor – my passion for travel can finally be utilised!
Fuse Magazine was created as part of a collaboration project for the University of the Arts London (UAL), which features students from BA Public Relations, BA Journalism, BA Magazine Publishing.
The aim behind the magazine is to create a platform for students to communicate, gain experience in the media field and share opinions on various topics; likes and dislikes, university experiences, and to learn from industry experts.
Already a strong team of 20, the Fuse team continues to grow, with contributions from various students within the University and outside.
By creating an online and print magazine, we want to give students the opportunity to interact with the magazine through various social media outlets, were we will always be up to date with what is going on around the various campuses and society. At the end of the month, we will publish a print version of the online magazine as to cater for students who prefer traditional media.
We are initially aimed at ‘fusing’ the six campuses together within University of the Arts London, by presenting individual works and collaborating with various students from around the University. We hope to branch out to various Universities within the United
Kingdom.
Launching online on the 14th February 2014, we are optimistic that Fuse Magazine will contribute positively to not only the team, but can act as a presentation for students aiming to launch their careers.
