Hi, saw your vids and have to say that for a (trainee) journalist, your campaign vids featured nothing of what you spoke about – so may as well have been filmed at home, had crappy sound and were BADLY edited. It made you come across as being self-absorbed, and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
If you are going to REPORT on stuff, then REPORT. How would you feel if an important news item on the net or TV was filmed in exactly the same way as your campaign vid – complete with iPad shots? Would you take it seriously?
Anyway, inject some empathy and POV into your journalism, and you’ll go a lot further.
